Almost as good as ITV1! (ITV 2)

Advantages: Full of great shows

Disadvantages: Films are repeated a little too much

We used to have Sky up until a couple of years ago but got rid of it because it was just a waste of money, even though there are loads and loads of channels there was never anything to watch and at over £40 a month it simply wasn't worth it. However going from having all of those channels to then being stuck with just 5 was pretty rubbish, in fact it was like having 3 channels because I never watch BBC2 or Channel Five.

We then decided to buy a freeview box, I think it only cost about £20 and we then got another load of rubbish TV Channels but at least this time they were free. The one channel I love and watch all of the time though is ITV2, it wasn't until recently when my freeview box wouldn't work that I realised just how much I actually watch it.

ITV2 is one of a few ITV Channels. There is ITV, ITV3 and ITV4 also, if you miss what you want to watch on ITV2 then you can catch up on ITV2 plus 1. Which is the same shows just shown an hour later.

ITV2 is a great place to watch programs that have been shown on ITV, Emmerdale and Coronation Street are often repeated on this channel. As well as prime time shows that may have been on a couple weeks earlier are also repeated on ITV2. However it is not just a channel of repeats as it has many great programs of its own.

The many reality showS of Katie Price and Peter Andre are ones that I have been hooked on. I also watch Paris Hilton's British Best Friend, that was ok. The one show that I absolutely love to watch on ITV2 is American Idol, it is shown just a couple of days after it has been shown in America and I love any opportunity to watch Simon Cowell. You can also watch America's Got Talent as well.

ITV2 is also famous for spin-off shows, The Xtra Factor is one I watch occassionally and Dancing On Ice has a spin-off show too.

ITV2 also shows films quite often but these are usually old films that are repeated many times, I've lost count of the number of times I've seen True Lies and Pretty Women in the TV listings for this channel.

I think ITV2 is great, in fact it was worth the £20 I paid for the freeview box just to have this channel. I watch it all the time, it is great for catching up on shows you've missed and it has its own great shows too. Great TV Channel.

Summary: I love ITV (so much better than BBC)
