ITV 4Newest Review: ... get confused between ITV 2, 3 and 4, and BBC Three, and Alibi, and Watch, but where ITV 4 falls down is that is seems to have the less popular shows on as reruns, whereas the others tend to show the more popular ones, albeit repeated. There is the occasional gem of a film, or show, and there are moments, such as the football matches, where it is a good channel to watch, but I rarely find myself stopping here to watch something. ITV 4 airs on channel 120 on Sky, straight after ITV 2 and 3. It's worth a look to see if something catches your eye every now and then, but don't rely on it for top TV.... more More ITV TV channels

Pushed firmly into the background by the more mainstream programmes shown on the other ITV channels, it usually features a rather random mixture of programmes that for some reason don't work together very well. Other channels, such as BBC Three, have a quirky mix of shows, a mixture of documentaries and entertainment and drama, that works well as it carefully pinpoints the target audience. I have to say even on Freeview this channel isn't worth much, the only use it has is in showing Champions League football when ITV show the main match. ITV4 seems to be a mish mash of old detective series from both sides of the atlantic, celebrity based quiz shows and reality television, it shows trash like Katie and Peter, rubbish starring Keith Lemon and the odd film which always seem to star Steven Seagal, it is not a good channel at all i'm not sure what its point is, it does nothing new, any comedy is derivative or weak and cheap, any drama is imported or simply a really old repeat and the reality tv is rubbish too. At least BBC3 and 4 have something of ... Read the complete review

ITV 4 is one of the extra commercial television channels that is available on freeview, cable and satellite. It can be found on channel 28 on Freeview and along with ITV 3 and ITV 2 runs many of the programmes shown on ITV. Unlike ITV2 and ITV3 it does not usually show all the repeats of Emmerdale and Coronation Street but rarely, if ever, shows any new programmes. ITV is also available on Virgin Media channel 15/22; Sky channel 120 and Tiscali channel 29. You can also catch it on Cable on Channel 117, Satellite on Channel 12 and free online at itv.com. So as you can see it is fairly easy to access. The main programmes tend to be dramas and the more unusual ... Read the complete review
