Rubbish, pretty bland and as innovative as a pebble (ITV 4)

I have to say even on Freeview this channel isn't worth much, the only use it has is in showing Champions League football when ITV show the main match.

ITV4 seems to be a mish mash of old detective series from both sides of the atlantic, celebrity based quiz shows and reality television, it shows trash like Katie and Peter, rubbish starring Keith Lemon and the odd film which always seem to star Steven Seagal, it is not a good channel at all i'm not sure what its point is, it does nothing new, any comedy is derivative or weak and cheap, any drama is imported or simply a really old repeat and the reality tv is rubbish too. At least BBC3 and 4 have something of a remit trying new music comedy and drama, to test for mainstream audiences, ITV simply seems to be an excuse to show loads of crap and make money from advertising.

The channel has no real news or current affairs content, sport is limited, comedy is awful, films are cheap and tacky and it just has the essence of a free community tv station rather than an extra station for a national institution.

I would love to see them make new shows, take chances, be a bit more edgy and current than ITV1 but unfortunately as revenue is the cornerstone of the channel all we get are Coronation Street repeats and repeats of reality tv.

Summary: As exciting as watching a horse fall asleep
