ITV 1:
... is there any point to ITV?? I ve been thinking about what TV programmes I watch so I can review them eventually on here, and after a while I realised there wasn t a single one on ITV. Thinking about it a bit longer then having the pain of having my mother in law here for a few days who insists on watching Emmerdale and Corrie I realised that ITV s scheduling is full of soaps, glorified karaoke contests, and c... ITV 4 ... 4 is one of the lesser watched channels on TV. This may well be because it shows a number of shows that are not very popular. Other channels, such as BBC Three, have a quirky mix of shows, a mixture of documentaries and entertainment and drama, that works well as it carefully pinpoints the target audience. However, ITV 4 randomly has a few dramas such as Minder or The Champions early evening, or they ll have a Batman cartoon at 4 in the morning. Some nights, they ll have a decent film on. Tonight, they have Green Street, a... Read the full review: Excuse me, could you show me some less popular programmes, please? by pmcds |

ITV 1 ... really has become a channel filled with dross! I never used to mind this channel but now I find there is very little that is of interest to me. What must be a pretty huge budget is blown on some really sub-standard programmes. I m not saying I am looking to be intellectually challenged every time I watch T.V. but ITV really does provide only the most empty headed viewing! First of all, the soaps. I used to think Coronation Street and Emmerdale were watchable chill out telly. The characters were familiar and there were some quite good storylines in the past. No longer. The programmes look amateurish, the storylines are uninteresting and there is little by way of dece...
