Advantages: Interesting dramas. Catch up lifestyle show.

Disadvantages: Too many of the same re-runs

More4 is one of my must watch TV channel. Since its launch in 2005, it has become my source of viewing on lifestyle programs, docu-drama, current affairs and a channel for America TV shows.

More4 is a digital channel by Channel 4, it can be viewed on freeview, freesat and onable platform.

The docu-drama aired in More4 are usually about controversial issues. Topics like the Iraq war, the American presidential election and social issues like animal activists, satire on politicians, are screened in the form of docu-drama. The combination of acting the scenes together with actual interviews with the people concern make docu-drama real. Believe it or not, it does give us a better explanation of the issue.

More4 is also the channel to catch up with lifestyle programs you missed in Channel 4. You can watch re-run of location,location, location, Grand Designs, Come dine with me, a place in the sun and many others in More4. The only set back about these re-run is it gets boring watching the same show after a while. However, I do not get upset now when I missed my favourite Grand Design on Channel 4 as I know I can catch up in More4. You can catch up with the re-run of Dispatches documentary on More4 too.

Currently, More4 is screening US presidential election related programs. They are building up to the US election with films about presidential elections and debates between the presidential candidates and the vice presidential candidiates.

There is also a segment of true stories documentary. True Stories investigate myths, rumours and beliefs of people, places and lifestyle. It also exposes institutional and bureaucratic exploitations.

If you like American TV shows, you can also watch the Daily Show hosted by Jon Stewart every evening at 2030hrs, ER Studio 60 and more.

Channel 4 have done well with More4. They have successfully geared More4 to be a channel of controversy and a channel that focus on current, social issues.

Of course, amidst all the controversies and dramas, More4 is also a place for you to catch up with your favourite docu-dramas and lifestyle shows.
