MTV which stands for Music Television has grown and added lots of great teenage shows to its listing through out the last few years.

This channel used to soley be known for the music videos it played, however MTV have added some great shows that are mostly aimed at the teenage and younger adults of the world for viewing.

Some shows that MTV show include:
Pimp My Ride
Hosted by the rapper Xzibit, this is the ultimate car make over show, the team take peoples old cars that are basically really unsafe to drive and discusting and make them in to super cars and pimp them out with televisions and other crazy things, one van had a jucuzzi bath tub installed in the back in one of the episodes. This is a great show for the car lovers out there.

My Super Sweet 16
This show can be annoying at times, but I cant help but like it. It is about rich 16 year olds planning their 16th birthdays and throwing massive star worthy partys. The show shows how spoilt some of the girls really are and also shows the process of planning, what goes right and what goes wrong all in the lead up and duration of the party.

The Hills
I never really got into this show, though I think that it is a reality show thats kind of staged a bit, I think that reality tv lovers will love watching this show, it stars a group of girls and guys who live on Beverly Hills.

MTV News
There is also a quick celebrity news slot in this channel which is basically a 1 minute an hour update on what is going on in the celebrity world, giving you all the gossip and news you need about the celebs and the trends.

MTV also has lots more programmes including South Park, Bromance, Daddys Girls and many more. Not forgeting the top 40 and all the great music videos that are shown regularly. A great channel for the teenage and young adult scene.
