One of the original sky music channel. This channel has been going on for quite a long time. It plays all the latest music and videos. It has quite a lot of exclusives whereby it plays the videos before anyone else.

It used to be MTV world wide but they changed it to MTV Europe, although now you get to watch more European music, they did lose a few good presenters.

The best show on MTV is MTV Select, where viewers phone in and dedicate a video of their choice to someone. It used to be presented by Donna Air but she has since left. It’s a good programme to watch where top quests come in and good videos are picked.

The best MTV series has to be ‘Real World’ it where seven or eight people are picked to share a house in one of the top cities like Florida, London etc. They are just great shows and make excellent viewing. I would love to be on MTV ‘Real world’ it seems such great fun. To live in a top city, a brilliant house would be ace.

However, I do think that MTV have probably lost a lot of ratings, since there are so many other good music channels.

MTV do have music chat more compared to other music channels, like ‘Daily Edition’ where Edith presents the daily music news.

It has Trevor Nelson and the dance floor chart a mixture of RnB music. Also Richard Blackwood who has made a name for himself on MTV, he has even released a couple of records. He comes on MTV Select on the weekends.

A good music channel with more variety than any other channels.
