Advantages: lots of good programs.. lots of chart music

Disadvantages: not enough varity in music

MTV, a very good music channel. With lots of different shows. Select, Daily Edition, specials and numerous others.

They are made al in good fun, some more professionally made then others but in the end they are all good fun to watch, and if you like me have sky digital you get enough I say enough music channels, you get MTV, MTV Extra, MTV Base, M2, VH1, the Box, Kiss and some other channels showing classic songs.

MTV is practicall all I watch on Sky as I love music and it shows lots of my fav videos. MTV is also premieres lots of new videos as well, so you get to see them all first.

Select is a good show in which callers that get through can ask for their video to be played and they get to talk to the presents. Richard Blackwood you da man!!!!!. They have lots of stars popping in as well.

The music they show is kind of restricted to chart music on normal MTV so you won’t find many other genre acts in here like metal and grungers. This is a downside to MTV but they normally show pop and chart music. But if you have Sky Digital then you can view the other music types at M2 which is owned by MTV and they are in to alternate music.

Another down or good side to some is that they do repeat all their shows. Good in the sense if you missed them you can still watch them but bad if you haven’t then you see the same one again.

If you like chart music then you’ll love MTV and this is all you want to watch. If you don’t then you’ll hate MTV
