MUTVNewest Review: ... maybe not in video form. Anything major is on sports news websites so quickly after MUTV if not leaked before. I think 20 years ago I'd have been glued to MUTV for every free minute unless the first team were live on another channel. Now though I have a family and a lot less time on my hands. I find myself hardly watching the channel and am considering stopping my subscription. In the ... more More other TV channels

I'm a big fan of the club, so I subscribed to MUTV, naturally. There's lots of news on the club, interviews with players and staff and also regular features from some names from not too long ago in the clubs history. Also on offer here are classic matches from recent years and live reserve team games. Almost all of the content is great for the dedicated fan, and I think the classic matches are great for people new to United. That said, I've not missed a game for a long time, so there's rarely anything that I haven't seen. The reserve team games can be interesting to watch, but with so much live football on offer I found myself watching more first ... Read the complete review

After reading a few of the reviews regarding mutv i cant believe people will say dont get it its only for utd fans.......your kidding.... MUTV is still in its early years of broadcasting and can only get better. I for one are easilly willing to pay £5 to see live games after coming home from old trafford and watch all the reserve games and pre season friendly's. Its a goodmix of news and phone ins and games and is a must for united fans world wide. Ok the news when it happens isnt first hand but u have to understand its only on from 5pm while the likes of sky sports news is a 24hr event.. If this is your way to slag of united again think on....if ... Read the complete review

If you are not a fan of Manchester Utd, or especially if you are a fan of their rivals Arsenal (like me) or Liverpool, you will surely know yourself that this channel is no use to you and you should steer clear of it. But even if you are a Manchester United fan, this channel may not be worth subscribing to. First of all, its plain to see that Utd are just using this as another way to rip their fans off and to get more money, since when should we have to pay extra to watch documentaries about football? I haven't actually seen MUTV but by looking at the TV Guide all it has is matches from the past, interviews, and occasional live matches. Is ... Read the complete review

This a channel for Manchester United fans who have so much money that they would rather waste in my view, which shows reserve matches, previews and old matches. In my view it is simply another way for the PLC at Manchester United to make money, another way to rip the fans off. It is not as though they don't make enough with what they charge for season tickets and football strips that they change each year . I think that this channel is a waste of money as you have to subscribe to it and that cost £72!, and anyway what is it going to tell a United fan that they can't find out on the internet or read in a newspaper. My message is don't be ... Read the complete review

Manchester United are one of the most professional teams on and off the pitch - their marketing strategies and ploys(25 new strips a season - well it seems like it) earn the club millions of pounds. So who was the genius that came up with this idea? To be fair the idea is good, A clubs own channel; every fan would want their club to have it wouldn't they? Just think, exclusive coverage of your team ,interviews with players etc.for £5 a month- can't be bad. BUT IT IS. If the team was as bad as the programmes that MUTV make and present, then they would be playing SUNDAY PUB LEAGUE FOOTBALL IN A SMALL ISLAND IN THE ATLANTIC OCEAN. ... Read the complete review
