Manchester United are one of the most professional teams on and off the pitch - their marketing strategies and ploys(25 new strips a season - well it seems like it) earn the club millions of pounds.

So who was the genius that came up with this idea?

To be fair the idea is good, A clubs own channel; every fan would want their club to have it wouldn't they?
Just think, exclusive coverage of your team ,interviews with players etc.for £5 a month- can't be bad. BUT IT IS.

If the team was as bad as the programmes that MUTV make and present, then they would be playing SUNDAY PUB LEAGUE FOOTBALL IN A SMALL ISLAND IN THE ATLANTIC OCEAN.

If you have never had the opportunity to watch this channel you really should try and see it, watch as the presenters stumble and bungle their way through programmes, you will be entranced by the inane comments of the celebrity panelists (old ex players that no one can remember)as they pass comment on the live game. OH YEAH THE LIVE GAME -
Man Utd Reserves v Bradford City Reserves :the excitement and tension is almost unbearable for the crowd of 47 people and 4 dogs, come on! get real! this is just the club thinking the fans will pay for anything that is connected with Man Utd, the content of these programmes is absolute dross!!

If you have ever watched a home made video made by your cousin or uncle who is a bit of an anorak, and thinks he is
the next Steven Spielberg, then that will give you an idea of the quality we are talking here. It makes the Public brosdcast channels in the states look like multi million pound productions.

This channel is just a rip off.
