National Geographic, to me, means piles of old magazines with yellow bordered covers. They littered my uncle's house, and he was a hunter. Think Nat Geo, and you're thinking animals and pretty photos, but what about the TV channel? Nat Geo is a subscription channel that contains non-fiction documentaries non-stop. Whilst you may think ... Read the complete review

National Geographic is to be commended for the high quality of its programming on this channel. There's a good variety of subject ... Read the complete review

However, it really does annoy me when I sit down to watch an interesting sounding programme to discover that is was one I watched several months earlier. In some cases it's not even several months in ... Read the complete review

I applaud the programme editors, writers and cameramen, crew whatsoever who made the programmes on National Geographic ever so interesting. Particularly, I enjoy the episodes on the coverage of Antartica whereby two French men set their foot on completing a journey of over 2000km on ice at minus 70 degrees celsius. It was an amazing coverage where ... Read the complete review

National geograpic, has always been a class act through its magazine publications, and now we can be entertained and learn at the same time. This venerable institution has spawned an excellent TV channel in the Discovery vein, concentrating on bringing the magazine features to life with ... Read the complete review
