Nick Jr is my childrens favourite TV Channel. It features a wide array of childrens tv programming and all the popular programmes such as Peppa Pig, Fifi and Dora the Explorer to name a few.

It can be found on Sky Digital on channel 615 and their is also a Nick Jr 2 offering the same programmes at different times on channel 620.

The programmes start at 6am which is great for me as my son is often up at this time so it keeps him occupied in the morning whilst I try to wake myself up properly.

In addition to the two channels mentioned, it can also be found between the hours of 7am and 9am on TMF which is available on Freeview so this gives you an opportunity to see what is offered without having to pay for Sky.

There are no presenters like other childrens tv channels and instead each programme is introduced by a mouse. I kind of prefer the non presenter approach as they often annoy me and I find that my little ones are never really interested in a grown man parading around in silly costumes just to introduce a tv show. So I personally think that the animated mouse works quite well and gets from programme to programme quite quickly and so managing to maintain my childrens attention.

Overall, it is a great tv channel, offering plenty of childrens television predominantly aimed at toddlers.
