Advantages: Funny, for all the family, great for kids too

Rugrats, the children’s cartoon show has been going on for quite a well now. I’ve seen quite a few episodes of it and I even like it! It’s aimed at children of all ages, from about 2 to12, although people much older than 12 still watch it because they think it’s funny or they think it’s cute!

The show doesn’t really have a story line. The episodes are normally totally different and they are just about the babies’ lives. Most of the episodes are about the babies’ going on a small adventure in their house or if Angelica, the oldest of the babies tricks them into thinking the wrong things.

The actual show is about five babies:
Tommy Pickles, who’s 2
Chuckie Finster, who’s 3
Phil and Lil (twins) who are both 2
Angelica, who’s 5
Also, Dil Pickles, who is a new baby to the Rugrats and the brother of Tommy.

Tommy Pickles is the risk taker of the small gang of the 4 small babies. (Phil, Lil, Chukie and Tommy) He always thinks of the ideas and his parents are called Stew Pickles and Didi Pickles. He has a dog called Spike and is best friends with Chuckie. Tommys little brother is called Dil and at first, Tommy didn’t like him, but now he does. Tommy is bald, wears a white nappy and a blue sleeve T-Shirt. Tommy does not have any shoes and he has two left feet! (Literally)

Chuckie Finster is Tommy’s best friends and has bright orange hair. He wears a light blue T-Shirt with a picture of a planet with rings (probably Saturn) on it. He also wears green shorts with yellow things on them which look like chips. Chuckie has red shoes on which the shoe laces are never tied. Chuckie is the only baby who gets scared of, well everything! He gets frightened by the smallest things in life, including his own blanket! He never wants to go on the adventures and mishief the babies go into but is usually dragged in.

Phil and Lil are identical twins. P
hil is a boy and Lil is a girl. They both wear almost the same clothes. They have a pink T-Shirt underneath the turquoise dress. (Yes, Phil wears it too!) There is a yellow duck on the dress and they both have pink shoes. Phil and Lil are the dirtiest babies out of the lot. They like eating worms and mud!

Angelica is the oldest out of the lot. She is also the bully out of the lot! She always tricks the babies and loves her doll, Synthia. She always has it and once cried when she thought she lost it. Angelica is quite spoilt by her parents and she always gets whatever she wants. All the adults think she’s a beauty but the babies know what she’s really like!

There isn’t much to say about Dil, the new baby. He’s Tommy’s brother and he is the smallest out of the lot. Unlike the others, Dil cannot talk, only dribble and laugh. Dil wears a gold top.

Rugrats is a very entertaining show for the whole family, especially the kids. It can be funny, and it’s quite good how they do everything-they try and make it so they know what the babies are thinking in the show. (In the show, the babies don’t actually say anything to the adults, only Angelica can speak) I guess they speak baby language but the show translates it. That’s just a guess but overall, Rugrats is a great show.
