Advantages: aimed and made for children and teens

Disadvantages: shows a little to many repeats

The best kids cartoon channel and one that will come in so handy at Christmas time. When my friend’s children about 7-8 come, they get bored of the other cartoon channels, mainly because they how repeats, and sadly Nick has it’s fair share aswell.
But, ‘Nick’ as they call it as so much more variety. Amongst some of their favourite shows are:
‘Rugrats’ even though it shows repeats more often than not, it’s still a favourite amongst kids.

In terms of variety for the older kids, they have some good programmes for instance,
Kenan and Kel where like Sister, Sister they get upto mischief an awful lot.
‘Sister Sister’ it’s a really god programme, they have really good parts and I like the twins and the rivalry that goes on between them. I must admit I like this myself.
‘Sabrina the Teenage Witch’ is another good show that comes on allot, it is about Sabrina and her going on.

I’ve just given a very brief description about the programmes but I can honestly say their will be something their that will attract some of your kids. There are virtually programmes for kids of all ages, starting in the morning with Pre school age, with Blues Clues being on my friend’s kids favourite. There is a website that children can visit if they want, it has some good stuff on about their favourite shows, but I must admit it is a little slow hence annoying.

I think nickelodeon is worth a watch, because it is made with children and teenagers in mind, and sometimes it is good for children to watch programmes their age, in contrast to something aimed at adults. It is on air between 7pm and 7pm so most of the day. I have to make a confession I love Rugrats, my kids watch it, and I love watching it aswell. There I’ve said it, don’t laugh. It is really good.

I love Rugrats! Blues Clues is on Nick Junior - which although owned by Nick - is a seperate channel in its own right !
