Advantages: vairity of programs, replay channel, great presenters

Disadvantages: repeats

Before i had the advantage of going digital i had to watch my favorite programs on normal tv..... and it was only often shown only one or twice a week. Then i discovered nickelodeon. i now really should not be watching these programs (me being aged 16) but nearly all of the programs on there are very entertaining.
my sister whos 11 has been known to watch nickelodeon all day. There is a range of programs shown and nickelodeon must have hold of all the episodes of all the programs they show... its down to nick that i have seen every episode of sabrina. this is because they can only show so many things so you tend to get a lot of repeats which can be quite annoying but it gives you more of a chance to see an episode you've missed
Another good thing about nickelodeon is that there is a replay channel which is the same as the normal channel but the programs are shown an hour later .. this is so that you dont miss your favorite programs if you have to nip out somewhere or something.
the programs vairy.. there are some old timers that nobody gets bored of like sister sister and sabrina the teenage witch. there are some that have been put away in the dusty store cupboard and only come out in the holidays. or shock horror never again these are programs like raising dad and kenan and kell. to replace the ones they have took off they have added new programs like taina and brothers garcia ......
the presenters are funny and appropriate for the program and they like to involve childeren as they oftern invite them to the studio. this is a brilliant childrens tv channel hopeully it will last a long time yet.
