E4:
... the same Friend s episode 4 times between the two channels! No I m a fan but no-one wants to see that much of the same thing! I think E4 need to mix it up a bit because it just seems to repeat friends, scrubs, wife swap, hollyoaks and Gillmore Girls over and over again. I know it is based on things on channel 4 so there will always be some limitations but surely there are other programmes they can add to the list!... Ideal World ... ordered a Ubisurfer netbook for £150 - payable over 3 monthly payments of £50 under their Flexiplay scheme. The Ubisurfer was faulty when it arrived - its battery would not charge enough for more than 15 minutes usage - and so I rang for a replacement. I was asked to return it to their Peterborough, UK address by Royal Mail special delivery and that they would refund the cost of return - £8.95. At the time of writing I have not had this postage refunded. I rang Customer Services to see when I would get my replacement. I spoke to a lady at their Indian call centre who had clearly limited authority who said replacements take 14 days. I could not speak to a representative ... Nickelodeon ... teenagers and kids will love tuning into Nickelodeon as the channel brings in some fantastic entertainment. There are so many shows on the channel I can pick out such as My Parents are Aliens, Kenan and Kel and Sabrina the teenage witch to watch on the channel. These shows make watching the channel interesting but there are even more good cartoon shows like Hey Arnold and Spongebob Squarepants. You have to pay on Sky to watch the channel as it comes with the entertainment pack. I loved watching the shows on this channel when I was younger but noticed a lot of the classic shows were repeated too much on the show. In 2005 they used to show too much of Sabrina the Teen... Freeview ... used to have Sky but got rid of it when we realised we spent most of our time watching normal TV, however after spending a while having just 5 channels we found this very limiting and there was often nothing to watch. Not wanting to pay £40 a month again we decided that we would get a Freeview box and see what channels we could get for free. Freeview is a digital terrestrial platform that gives you access to about 100 channels for free. You can access this by buying a set top box, these can range in price starting at about £15, the one I bought was from the Argos costing £20. You will find them in all electrical stores. Not everyone however needs to buy a box be... Read the full review: £20 well spent! by dthpsb |
