AS the motto for the Paramount Comedy goes, comedy IS Paramount. This is certainly certainly one of the reasons I have kept Sky, and it is easily one of the best channels on the wide range of what Sky has to offer. I can often sit there for hours and watch good program after good program.


I will explain the channel for the people out there that do not have the channel. What Paramount does is broadcast other shows, none that they personally do. Which means you get good show after good show. From what I have seen each show is broadcasted twice a day, once early in the morning, and one fairly late at night.

The range of shows they have on is really quite impressive, to be fair some of them are a little bit poor, but on the whole it is top class qaulity. I will list the shows that come off the top of my head.

As I said, some of these programs are really good, but some of them are not. But of the TV I watch, about 90% of it is the Paramount Comedey Channel, the rest is the films and music channels, which I also think are stunning.

Paramount does have its down falls though, due to the fact that good comedy is hard to come by, you get a lot of repeated shows, as you can see from the list before for those of you who really know your TV, you will know that a lot of those shows have not been running for an age.

The repetative nature of the channel is probably rhe only draw back. I have probably seen every episode of Cheers about 3 times, but that is okay, because it is probably the best comedey channel ever made. Just my personal opinion anyway.
