Paramount Comedy, now Comedy Central is my FAVOURITE tv channel. 90% of the times I put it on there is something to watch either on the channel or on the plus one. It doesn't shy away from good, funny, easily watched programmes in the name of variety. Its got it spot on. Often I can spend a day in the kitchen baking and decorating a ... Read the complete review

So Paramount comedy, or comedy central as its now known. Well I do like this channel. Am really into my comedy shows so I suppose this helps. There is also a comedy central +1 so if your to late for your favorite show you can catch up. The basic format is two shows back to back every hour. This is not always the case, sometimes they ... Cybill, Mash, Fraiser.... If its classic American sitcoms, (and they DO know how to get something right, we have 'Benson' and 'Soap' to thank them for) Then this is the channel where you'll find them. There are not only US prgrammes, you'll find some great British stuff too. I think Jack Dee is on Sundays, 'Live at the ... Read the complete review

Over Christmas my 21st century family got with it, and installed a Sky Digital service. Being the smug young man with one friend that I am, I had already experienced its pleasures over the last three years round my friend?s house, but had never experienced Channel 127: Paramount. ... Taxi, MASH, Third Rock from the Sun, Cheers, Mork and Mindy, Happy Days, Frasier, Roseanne: a roll call of the sort of comedy I love. Some I grew up with, others are more recent. All are cracking shows. And do you know what? They're all on in one day on the Paramount comedy channel. I like USA comedies. I think they write funnier ... Read the complete review

Paramount comedy is the best place to go if your feeling down, feeling high or just have a craving for american sitcoms From the straight forward fun of the Frank Skinner Show to the intellectualc comedy of Fraiser, Paramount has just about all of the comedy that you'll ever need. I love the American sit-coms and this is the best channel ever. Becker is my boyfriend's all time hero - he is great - makes it worth paying the Sky subscription just for Becker alone!!! I used to think comedy was the highest form of art. The ability to make someone laugh is a gift, and such a valuable one too. However, after the events in the US last week, comedy seems trivial at best. It does show the tenacity of the human spirit, though. The British, in particular, have a unique ability to laugh in times of adversity. So I hope ... Read the complete review

AS the motto for the Paramount Comedy goes, comedy IS Paramount. This is certainly certainly one of the reasons I have kept Sky, and it is easily one of the best channels on the wide range of what Sky has to offer. I've had this channel since about 1995 (when it was 'the Paramount Channel'), but I've only started watching it in the last few years.
