PremPlus is pay per view channel run by Sky Sports. The channel came into existence in 2001, each season over 50 games from English Premier League are shown live. In the first season only 40 games were shown. The games are mostly broadcast live on Saturdays. Starting time for these games are either before 1pm or after 5pm. PremPlus will cease transmission at the end of the season because Sky has lost rights to broadcast this particular package from next season.
