as an avid cardmaker (4 charity) I started to watch qvc 4 years ago - great as u can get ideas from the demos & some items are on 'easy pay' which is great when u don't have much money.
I do find the presenters annoying at times & sometimes find they concentrate on a single item for too long. I do compare prices though as I can often get similar items for much less - I suppose the beauty of buying from TV is you don't have to go out in the bad weather with the crowds & spend the bus fare sometimes not getting what you need!
qvc sales are very pleasant (unlike some channels) & their refunds are quick to be processed (unlike some other channels) - so what I'd say is be selective, don't get overexcited/compulsive & look out for outlet porogrammes which are really good value & just await delivery which is usually very quick!

Summary: worth a good look
