QVC is the original TV shopping channel which you can find on freeview, sky or any cable tv systems and also online. Their programmes are divided up into hour long shows specialising in a particular genre of product in which a presenter will talk about each item for several minutes.

They sell a vast range of products from health & beauty, clothing, home furnishings, garden products and jewellery. Each group has an expert presenter who regularly hosts shows and they have guest presenters from specific companies who regularly appear.

My favourite hours are the beauty and skincare hours where you will find a huge array of top brand products from the likes of Decleor, Elemis and Nails Inc. The items are sold at a much cheaper price than when bought on the high street because of the buying power of QVC where they obtain discounts due to the massive amount of stock they buy in. Most health and beauty products are sold in a set which passes on even more value to the customer than when the items are bought seperately.

The jewellery range is also excellent. They do sell really expensive gems such as diamonds and other rare stones but they do a vast range of modestly priced gold and silver jewellery too. You can often pick up gold necklaces and bracelets at prices you would associate with high street fashion jewellery which is fantastic.

They home furnishings range include products from the likes of Yankee Candles, Northern Nights (which do the most beautiful bedding) as well as electrical products from big brand names.

Every day, QVC offer a Today's Special Value product which is available for one day only at an extremely low price. These are really excellent value and they regularly sell out during the course of the day.

Perhaps one of the best things about shopping with QVC is the fact they offer a 30 day money back guarantee on absolutely everything. This includes beauty products which you have used or jewellery which you have worn - something you will definately not find with high street stores! This is fantastic as it allows you to try out the product at home for a few weeks without having to worry that you cannot send it back if you don't like it.

As you can probably tell, I am a big fan of QVC and have shopped with them for over 10 years. The prices for their beauty products are outstanding and I love the variety of products you can buy. I have never had a problem with sending anything back to them either and can't fault their customer service staff (who are also based in Liverpool). If I were to pick out a problem with them, I would say that sometimes the postage prices can be a little high and some products have too much packaging when they are sent to you but on the upside it means your chances of receiving a damaged product through the post are extremely minimal. I'm also not a huge fan of trying to fight my way through a busy shopping centre looking for stuff so with QVC I can relax at home!
