QVC is a television shopping channel which currently broadcasts to a number of countries around the world including the USA & the UK. For the purposes of this review, I'm going to talk about the UK version which started broadcasting in October 1993. It's available on satellite, cable & freeview as well as having an online ... I have been buying from QVC for several years now and I only have good things to say about them. QVC have been around for years and are a well established business. They sell basically anything your average department store would sell, and much more. Many people have a bad image of shopping channels and imagine cheesy presenters talking in ... I love this channel so much because it is a good channel ,very organised with presenters who try to sell products in a very good way .The other reason i like it is that i can manage to buy some products that are important to me in the comfort of my own home and believe me when you have three toddlers that is a good thing to do cause you do not ... I am 27 now, but remember first seeing QVC on TV when I was about 14. Julia Roberts (not the film star) is one of the longstanding presenters of this home shopping channel, and her hair certainly looks a lot better than the mop of an overdone perm she had all those years ago, but she is still arguably one of the best presenters and has probably ... I don't like the QVC channel, I don't like most of its presenters and I don't like the way it treated me as a customer, that's when I was a customer. They are the last retailer on earth I would ever choose to shop from now. QVC are a television shopping channel that originated in the U.S.A. For many years now they have ... Read the complete review

Living in a very isolated Cornish village, and not being able to drive due to ill health, I shop a lot from Q.V.C. and have never found a problem with them. They always deliver within 7 days, and if I'm not happy with my purchase, I just send it back, whether I have used it or not. I have purchased many items from Q.V.C. without any ... QVC was founded in 1986 by Joseph Segal and began broadcasting in the USA in November of that year followed by the UK in 1993. Germany in1996 and Japan in 2001. I first came across QVC when I bought a freeview box and started flicking through the channels. At first I didn't see anything very interesting but carried on flicking over the next ... I have been shopping with QVC for 12 years & can honestly say out of all the Internet shops I use ,QVC is number one. My goods have always arrived within 7-10 days & the quality & value for money is excellent. When contacting QVC I've always been spoken to in a polite & efficient way & applaud thier customer ... I have only ever bought once from QVC but i will sometimes watch the channel if there is nothing on or if i know they are showing something that may interest me. QVC is the longest running shopping channel available on freeview and satelite television. After broadcasting in America successfully for several years it came to air on British television in 1993 some ten years after it first aired on American television. It has seen off many competitors over the years and yet it's products are not ... Read the complete review

I think that I may have had too much time just recently without my children around as I have found myself watching far too much television shopping! QVC is shown on free-view and paid for cable/satellite packages. It shows you many items that you never knew existed and offers you the chance to buy them. They cover items such as; ... I only found out about QVC because my Mum was an avid fan of it! She was mostly into their jewelry and crafting products whilst i'm now a fan of their skincare products. I don't think QVC is one of the cheapest places to go for products but it depends if the certain product you are after is on one of their special offers (which they have ... Read the complete review

as an avid cardmaker (4 charity) I started to watch qvc 4 years ago - great as u can get ideas from the demos & some items are on 'easy pay' which is great when u don't have much money. I do find the presenters annoying at times & sometimes find they concentrate on a single item for too long. I do compare prices though as I can often ... Read the complete review

The high prices QVC have been charging have obviously been hit by the current financial downturn. Most of the products are now on easy pay, even the cheapest of items. I have been a crafter for many years, but it is still much cheaper to buy individual items from a craft shop than pay QVC for a contrived package. Most craft products are over the £20 mark - not reasonable at all. I find the daftest presentation is for Molton Brown - all the hyped up talk and marketing for an "experience" we are told - it is only soap after all !
I also agree with other reviewers that to return something can be extremely expensive. We may get a refund but have lost the cost of posting twice !

I ordered a Grundig TV from QVC on a TSV, the price was similar to that elsewhere but was on 3 payments so a good idea. The TV arrived with no remote!! I had purchased this as a gift for my daughter who was going into hospital and needed to convalesce at home for a few weeks and thought this a great thing to purchase for her. One month on, ... QVC have gone downhill over the last 12 months. I do not find them the cheapest on all their products as they sugeest especially on beauty and some of their craft products. Awaiting Stock!!! In October I ordered a Liz Earle TSV at 00.10am and on another day a Craft TSV at 9.15am, both were in stock and not limited. I arranged to send a cheque, they give you 10 days. I love jewellery but can't afford fortunes for the real thing, but neither do I like things that are too glitzy and look fake and cheap. One of my favourite hours in the QVC week is definatly Card crafting, becasue of the card crafing expert Dawn Bibby, who the mass majority of the audience are in love with.As some texts sent into the show claimed " Card crafting has turned my life around."
