SETANTA - VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICES (Setanta Sports 1)

I would like to make it perfectly clear that there is nothing wrong with Setanta's channels, the programmes they show, the varied live events they cover, all of that is fine........ it's Setanta's TERRIBLY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE that I wish to let readers know about.
When things go wrong, they are less than keen to help. They promise you that someone will ring you back, and nobody does. They will send you texts telling you to ring them urgently (on an expensive preminum rate number), they will mess up your direct debit and billing arrangements.
I have had NOTHING BUT TROUBLE with them since the day I signed up (which cost £8 in telephone call). I was told the wrong starting date for my payments, consequently ended up being charged by my bank for the returned Direct Debit.
I was prepared to give them the benefit of the doubt when they promised someone would ring back at 8:00pm on such-and-such a night..... nobody rang.. Then received snooty letters asking me to ring them. No chance, I was ALREADY out of pocket because of being given misinformation, which they denied. There was no way I was spending MORE money trying to correct THEIR mistake.

Absolutely dreadful customer service.
I just thought people needed to know so you don't go through the same treatment.
Sorry it's only a short review, but like I said, it's more about them as a COMPANY, rather than their programmes.

Summary: Their promises are like pie crust - easily broken.
