Advantages: All the latest US series

Disadvantages: Not many British programmes

The one thing that strikes you about watching Sky One is that the vast majority of the prime time programmes are American. Although this is not bad with superb series such as Friends, ER, The Simpsons, The X-Files, Buffy etc. being screened months before they are shown on terestrial TV. I have noticed recently that Sky have made an effort to produce more of their own programmes and have spent a lot of money to secure Harry Enfield for his new series and also recently screened the first new episode of Blackadder for many years. If it is British TV you want then you are probably best to stick to BBC, ITV and Channel 4 for now but for all the latest US series Sky One is superb.

Summary:
