Advantages: Brilliant channel.

I have always loved Sky One, and I end up watching it most nights as it has classic shows such as The Simpsons and Futurama.

Recently there was a dispute between Virgin Media and Sky which resulted in Sky one being taken off of the list for Virgin channels, so for a while the only way to keep up with your favourite Sky one shows was to move over to Sky as a provider. This dispute has been resolved now and this means that more people are now able to watch this amazing channel.

Sky One is part of the variety mix with Sky and comes along side other channels such as Sky 2, Sky 3, living tv, paramount comedy etc. the price for adding this mix on depends on the package that you are after, but the lowest that you will ever pay to recieve this is £16.50 per month. This may seem a little expensive for this but bearing in mind that its a package that gives you around 39 other channels too, aswell as all of your standard free channels.

As I said at the start of the review I love watching this channel, and the fact that it broadcasts 24 hours a day is even better on channel 106 on Sky. I do find however that they do a few repeats, but for me this is great because if i have forgotten to watch something or I just loved it so much that a second viewing is in order then it is there again at some point to give that oppertunity.

Sky One has been around for as long as I can remember, the name has recently changed from Sky One to Sky 1, I have no idea why but I thought that I better mention it. One of my favourite shows that is on Sky 1 is Prison Break and at the moment I am disappointed as it is on a break. Beacuse Sky gets it directly from America when they take a break then we have to too, that is the only bad thing about it.

if you have Sky 1 then why not have a look just now and I bet that theres something good on.
