Sky 1, usually one of the flagship chanels associated with Sky Television. This channel has been part of SKy nearly since they launched years ago and and although there is now Sky 2 and Sky 3, Sky 1 is the best in my view.

There is always the new and in my view some of the best programmes on this channel. As of tomorrow Lost season 5 premiers. Sky 1 have had the rights to Lost and have them exclusively. Also they bought the rights to Prison Break a few series ago as well. Other big shows here are 24, Gladiators, The Simpsons and Are you smarter than a 10 year old.

This channel runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and is on channel 106 on Sky. There is also now a Sky 1 HD channel, which is on channel 144. So what programmes are exactly on here? Things like

Although there is a lot of good shows here, you tend to find they are repeated a couple of times over the same week, which isn't that bad a thing, but since a lot of Sky customers have Sky+ boxes you would think to show something once and then 1 repeat may be enough, therefore there could be more great shows on.

This channel is part of the entertainment package on Sky and a good channel for all ages
