If you can only afford one Sky premium channel, make sure it ISN'T this one!

If you have the Sky package (analogue or digital) then there is not much difference in price between having both or one of the movie channels (£1 per month).

However, some cable companies and ONdigital offer it as a standalone. Time was, Sky's two first run film channels seemed to have an equal split of good movies (a cunning way of making you have both). Nowadays, they seem to put all the real blockbusters on Sky Premier, and the dross on Sky Moviemax.

If you like a diet of American made for TV films, kung fu movies, and stuff that even Channel 5 would turn up its nose at, then get it - otherwise save your mney for a few bags of popcorn!
