Sky News hit our screens on 5th February 1989. It broadcasts on Sky 501.

Sky News enjoys mega resources. At least 3000 journalists all over the world. Not all of these guys work for Sky News; they work for other companies run by Rupert Murdoch. I mention this because it is these resources play a part in Sky bringing stories and news from all over the world.

Only Sky can provide top class coverage of everything that is happening in the world. BBC News is competitor but in comparison this channel loses out on virtually everything that Sky News offers. Sky News is first with scoops and with breaking new stories. BBC is sometime hours behind on some stories. Ever since I can remember I had access to Sky News.

I am very grateful to Sky for providing world class coverage of events and news as it happens in every corner of the world.

The news and views on Sky are unbiased and totally accurate. Only in Britain can we have a station with ethical values and nose for the truth.
