Advantages: Great website! Great viewer involvement!

Disadvantages: Slightly less warm than BBC news

I probably watch sky news online more than I do on the actual television, but the fact that I can easily and practically do that is absoloutely fabulous! One of my favourite News channels, Sky News is often the best place on the web to watch a video clip on a particular news story, as other website often do not have videos that load up as quickly, or a Video section where you can select purely videos without any Literature.
Sky News also seems particularly keen to communicate with its viewers and has many viewer polls and also displays many photographs of various things that have been submitted by viewers. If ever there is snow for example, you can bet Sky News will have loads of user photos on display from all over the country.
The website is updated regularly and the latest headlines are easy to find, being right on the homepage. If I had to give one negative factor regarding the website, it would be the annoyingness of the adverts that start before videos play. There is one advert in particular, which attempts to encourage people to visit Canada where a man screams down a Zip wire for 30 seconds. That is Frankly annoying.
Sky News is really good at delivering sports news and also business and financial news, so it's not really a specialist news channel and can be appreciated by everyone. I also understand it's available on freeview which means it isn't exclusively for people who pay for Sky.
In conclusion, Sky News is a favourite of mine, and I'd like to especially appluad their fantastic website.
