Sky News has been news channel of the year for a while now and continues to please me with excellent news reports. Whenever I want to watch the news on TV, i switch over to Sky News (channel 501 on Sky). The news channel has a good layout and is very efficient.

There are news updates every 15 minutes and news reports including sport and weather. Sky News has reporters all over the world ready to catch the latest breaking news. In my opinion, the news they give seems to be accurate and honest. There is always a breaking news line at the bottom of the screen, which has the latest breaking news scrolling across the screen. This is easy to read and enables you to catch the latest news whilst watching the main headlines.

Sky News brings you great accurate news reports along with videos, footage, speakers and they regularly bring in professionals on the matter to give a second opinion. The weather reports are always very accurate too. There are always small intermissions between the news with Sky adverts and others too, which can be a bit annoying - the only down side. There is always a clock on the screen so you can view the time accurately whilst watching the news. I would highly recommend Sky News over any other news channel.
