Sky News is a multi award winning news channel which has a sole purpose of bringing you news updates 24 hours a day. The channel has been up and running for many years now and is a firm favourite with those who are looking for in-depth coverage of news stories as there are many reporters based all over the world able to bring you the fullest information in the shortest time. During any major news stories (recent events include the 9/11 attacks, the tsunami and the Josef Fritzl case) I always make sure that I watch Sky News as the experts give you information that allows you to make judgements based on knowledge rather than media opinions (be that in the form of tabloid newspapers, national news or internet coverage) and the presenters give you simple facts rather than speak down to you or try to be confrontational with the guests as I have seen on some other news shows.
