Sky news is by far the most comprehensive and the best-presented news on the hundreds of sky channels. It’s been going on for about 10 years and what an advantage that has given it. There are other 24-hour news channels, but this is special.

Its got this presence about it, the broadcasters seem to be well established, the journalists of the top order. What else can you as for? It presents excellent programmes like ‘The Sharp End’, where it has touching reports which touch the bottom of your heart of the plights of people all over the world.

When there is breaking news, Sky news is there, it has presented hundred of live press conferences, been first at countless events. It attracts the best people and the best guests.

It not only covers news but also top sporting events, as regular city news and as constant updates in the weather. Your call has fast established itself as a top programme, it’s a phone in on the top news stories where people ring in and voice their views. They try to keep in touch with the viewers and are constantly reading e-mails sent by viewers.

A couple of months a go they introduced the Interactive service whereby you can watch what you want when you want. Simple press the red button on your sky digital remote and go sky news interactive.

A very good news channel compared to BBC1 news or ITV news. It also has show-biz programmes, which have some really good interviews.
