Sky have pioneered interactive services for digital TV, the latest service is their interactive news service Sky News. Found on channel 501, this channel is the first news channel to truely give the viewer what they want. It is possible to just watch the news like you would on terrestrial tv, or by pressing the red button and going interactive you have the choice of 4 different news items or if none of those suit you, you have the option to scroll down a menu for things like the weather or other items of interest. This has to be the future of news broadcasting.
