Sky News are definitely ahead of their time. Back in October, channel 501 launched an interactive news feature. By pressing the red button on your handset, you can watch the news and read stories at any time of the day. No longer do you have to watch the news at 6 whilst eating your tea (how many times have you been put off your shepherds pie by a murder or train crash??). The menu screen will pop up, allowing you to choose to watch the headlines, read the headlines, take part in a daily news poll, read the sport news, watch the entertainment and business news, and read the latest weather reports. AND IT'S ALL FREE!!! No extra charges for having this fab facility!Also, there are NO ADVERTISEMENTS at all! It is definitely a bonus, I can now quickly check the lottery numbers and headlines before I nip off to work, or when I am on my way out for the evening. it takes 2 minutes, considerably less time than watching the news itself. It also enables my other half to check the football results without me having to listen to an hour of Match of the day!! All I can say is - USE THIS SERVICE BEFORE THEY TAKE IT AWAY FOR NOT BEING POPULAR!!!!!!!
