Advantages: Good Technically but beware of Hidden Terms

Disadvantages: Terms and conditions are not clear - ambiguous terms all at Skys benefit

Sky+ is great but Sky needs to address customer service and hidden terms. Beware that if you downgrade your package you wont be able to watch recorded programmes from channels that you no longer subscribe to.

e.g. subscribe to Movies for a month and record loads of films. Change your package and no longer be able to watch those recordings! Apparently recording programs is seen as an "extra" as far as the terms and conditions are concerned! If you dont subscribe you cannot watch (even those films you recorded when you did subscribe)

Summary: Very Costly with Hidden terms

if you downgrade, you also end up paying loads more for your Sky+ sub as it may no longer qualify for the discounta as it is tied to the premium channels. So you pay as much as you did when you had the movies and what not.
