Advantages: Large memory, live pause and record function

Disadvantages: Waited quite a while for the record function to come on and is a little expensive

God, how did I live without sky plus before now?!?!?!? I've only had it five weeks and nearly used up the memory on the taped section. Basically the box comes and gets plugged in to your phone line. A fully equipped engineer comes and does it and it only took myone about 10 minutes to put the box in and the aerial up on the roof. Then thats pretty much it. He goes through what you need to do to get it started and explains it will take a while for the channels to install. We had the top package so we get everything and we added Setanta to it, (not for me for the other half). Within 3 hours it was all up and running although we did wait a whole day for the taping system to work properly, but a quick call to sky fixed that problem. And basically thats it, we're all set up now, I tape LOADS! I know I've only had it 5 weeks but I honestly can't remember life before it. Its brilliant!

Summary: All in all, I would highly reccomend sky plus, the pros definately outweigh the cons.
