After reading various reviews on this site I was feeling confident about signing up with Sky so took the plunge - am so glad I did.
From the very first phone call to sign up I can honestly say that the sky staff were excellent. I ordered the £17 deal which included sky+, telephone calls and broadband. Although I am paying £31.00 in all this is because I have added various channels, chosen the middle broadband speed and got sky in another room - I was paying £15 for my broadband before from Orange and £29.00 per month for my calls with BT so I'm still quids in with a lot more for my money!

My order was placed on a Saturday and by the Wednesday we had Sky+ installed by a very helpful chap.
Sky+ is brilliant although quite a lot of the channels have repeats, no more arguing at teatime when the kids have to leave their programms to come to the table, you just pause it when teas over back the kids pop and carry on watching from where they left off.

It 's very simple to use and like the advert says you wonder what you did before you had it.
Next we changed to sky talk which happened about roughly two weeks later again no problems. Although I did discover that I no longer had my 1571 facility - phoned sky, again, excellent service, nothings a problem. Seemingly they have to switch the 1571 facility on which they duly did and within 72 hours it was back on.
Every step of the way Sky keep you informed at what stage your order was at - the router come when they advised it would and the broadband changed over on the date given. The broadband was my biggest concern but I needn't have worried - it is very straight forward and although we had a couple of niggles (down to our computer not Sky broadband) I phoned Sky tech dept and they were excellent again and we were soon sorted.
My summary of my experience with Sky and their products has been very pleasant and I for one would thoroughly recommend them.
