Sky+ is one hell of a piece of technology. We got it originally due to an offer on that referring a friend to sky meant we could get the sky+ box for free and then it's just £10 a month for the service.

We started getting to grips with it and using it to record our programs but didn't really get into it until we had time to look it over properly. The Live Pause function is great if you need the toilet, to answer the phone/door or make a drink as it pauses live TV! even allowing you to rewind around 5 minutes.

The recording is dead simple, an extra button on the remote control allows you to simply select a program from the planner and press record to queue it, you then just go back to the same place to watch it.

Series Links are great also, this is a very smart feature that allows your sky+ box to record an entire series of your favorite programs when they're on, without missing them and without you having to keep pressing to record it.

All in all its a fantastic piece of kit and for £10 a month it is well worth it. Around 40 hours of storage makes it a bargain and once you get it, you wont know how you did without it!
