Advantages: superior to the standard service

Sky Plus is a revolution and has probably saved my relationship many a needless arguement, its a very simple idea a sky box with a harddrive to record programs on to. there are loads of features that make this a better product than your standard sky box.

1 live pause and rewind.
how much do you hate adverts, with sky plus you dont need to watch them, you can pause your program for as long as you want i.e 6-7 minutes go and put a wee brewskie on and come back and watch your program from the start, when you get to the adverts you will have 6-7 minutes of fast forward no more adverts.

2 series record
I currently love Eli Stone a program on sci fi on a monday night at 9. now with the sky plus box i can set up a series link so not only am i recording the episode that is on that night i have set up a link to record the whole series, so if im not in it will auto record for me to watch at another time.

3 reminder service
you get a full channell listing, and how many times have you said "0h id like to watch that" only to have forgotten its on and missed it, with sky plus you can set up a reminder that will remind you 5 minutes before it starts and will automatically take you to the channell.

I rate this system very highly and like i said has saved many an argument, highly recommend over the standard service
