Advantages: Anytime recording of upto two programes at the same time

Disadvantages: They don't last forever

After seeing adverts about the Sky Plus (Sky+) system i managed to talk my husband into getting it. WOW i can't beleave how we ever managed without it. This machine has turned every member of my household from TV fighting to calm, nobody misses there programes everybody can watch it back when they are ready. The idea is simple you find the programe you want to record using the TV guide, then you have the option to "series link" which recorde every episode of the programe, no more missing that episode that makes the whole serise make sense. The channels compete with each other to get us viewing now when the BBC & ITV put great show on at the same time i can recorde one or both of them and watch back at my leisure at a time that suites me Great. I can record those great reruns that are on in the middle of the night so when i'm ironing the time goes by quick which can't be bad. If you need to get a drink, nip to the loo or collect the kids you can pause a live programe and go back to it when you return.
