New way of watching TV (Sky Plus (Sky+))

Advantages: Saves your recordings to the box, easy to use, like having your own channel

Disadvantages: Not cheap to first buy box

We have been a customer of Sky for several years and in 2008 decided to invest in a Sky Plus box.

The idea seemed brilliant, being able to pause live TV and record anything you wanted to with it being saved onto your box. Could it really be that easy?

Yes, it can. Sky plus is simply an amazing invention which has changed how we and many others with it watch TV. It is like having your on channel.

Firstly, it is simple to use. You can look through your on screen TV guide and when you reach a programme you would like to record, you simply press the red "R" button. This then sends the programme into your planner. It will then be recorded unless you say otherwise. You can also then press the green button (don't worry its all explained to you!) to series link the programme e.g It will then record that programme daily for you.

To access these recorded programmes, you need to go into your TV guide and then view your "planner". You can then watch anything you have recorded.

Another feature of Sky plus is being able to pause and rewind live TV. Brilliant technology and amazing how much you use it when you have it. You will never miss a goal in a football match anymore!!

I would recommend Sky Plus to everyone, its truely is a new way of watching TV
