Advantages: loads of channels, the best tv shows, films and channels avaliable, pause record channels

Disadvantages: expensive

Sky plus is a personal video recorder service for sky digital and had recently dramatically increased in popularity and now dominating the market. particularly expensive however, with a fixed payment a moth, on top of an additional payment of the sky box itself (roughly 80 pounds), sky plus has a variety of different channels, tv shows and films all of which you can record and pause. This applies to live channels too by which you can pause them and instantly rewind them. To name a few of the channels and shows available -

Sky one (the best channel on sky) - Prison break, lost, 24 and many more great, popular TV shows.

Sky movie - speaks for itself - contains a list of great movies.

Sky 2 - family guy and many more.

Sky includes all the channels normal television does and free view but hundreds more so if you are the type of person who loves TV, this product is definitely for you, its the best out there.
