This is the best thing to happen to tv - ever!

I have had sky plus for almost 4 years now and I recommend it to everyone. Everyone knows the basics, pause live tv, rewind live tv, record programmes, set up series links to record the programme each time it is on. Never miss your tv programmes again.

The benefits of this is that we watch our programmes when we want to. We hardly ever watch our favourites when they are scheduled. The box is well styled and looks good while being functional. The remote is easy to use.

With sky plus you have a planner section where your programmes are stored. There you can watch, delete and save programmes so that they won't be deleted.

I find that sky plus comes into its own when my nephews are here as we always keep a few programmes on the planner for them and that always goes down well.

One of the best features is if you are watching something and there is a funny bit you can simply rewind watch and laugh again. We use that feature a lot, and each time we watch something it seems to get funnier!

The newer boxes also offer anytime tv, a selection of movies, entertainment, documentary and kids programmes that change every so often. If you can't find anything to watch then there will usually be something on there to pass the time. Programmes from anytime can also be automatically saved to your planner, just press the R button and they are on your planner straight away through download and not having to record.

You can record two programmes at the same time, but you have to watch one of them. However you can record two programmes at the same time and watch something on your planner as well.

This is really the best thing to happen to tv - there are cheaper alternatives eg. Virgin box but nothing really compares to the variety of programmes you get on sky. Sky is expensive especially if you have the full package, but I find using sky plus enables me to take advantage of the full package and watch the programmes and films I want.
