I'm a recent convert to the world of Sky plus, and I'm officially an addict!
I recently signed up, having being a sky customer for years, but hearing better and better things about the sky plus box. So, when I found an offer, I decided to convert.
When I signed up, I had to have an engineer out, as the full wiring changes when you convert from normal sky to sky plus, and you need a new dish fitting. The whole process took around an hour, and was easily finished with no mess.
So the engineer soon left, and I decided to get on and have a play with it. And I found it brilliant!
You can pause a program while you are watching, to go get a cup of tea, or you can rewind while you are watching to replay moments.You can set a planner to record a specific program, or link it to record a full series of that show. There is anytime tv, where sky saves a variety of programs and films of its choosing, for when you can't fid anything you want to watch. I find I watch my favourite programs repeatedly during the week nowadays!
