Advantages: Tape programmes even when you are not at home

Disadvantages: Catching up with all I record!

How did I every manage without this! Sky + has changed my viewing habits. Given a choice of whether to watch a channel with commercial breaks or not I watch the one without breaks and Sky + the one with. That way when watching back I simply fast forward at up to 30 times speed through the commericals, this is particularly useful when watchin some of the late night shows like Desparate Housewives which always seem at that time of night to have commercials that go on for ever! Sky +also lets me record a satalite channel which my normal DVD recorder will not let me do.
Being able to pause live T.V. is also very useful...if the telephone is going to ring or some one call at the door,you can guarantee it will be at the crucial moment in that 3 hour film you have been watching.
Accessing recorded programmes is easy via the on screen menu which so simple to use.. The red button also gives access to lots of interactive content and say for example you are watching a footballmatch you can sometimes choose to watch a different match
I even have a programme onmy Itouch which lets me remote record when away from home using my Sky+

Summary: Makes watching commerical channels so much more fun!
