How sky plus works

Sky plus is a sky box with a hard drive built in so you can,
watch one channel while recording another
Record two different channels at the same time, while watching a recorded show
Select a recording from sky plus planner, and then copy them if to a video or DVD recorder
Follow a series, from the series link program you add it once and then it records every show
Pause live TV
Rewind live TV


To be able to watch come dine with me and 60 minute make over in peace once the kids are in bed is the most wonder thing ever.

This is also really help full and saves me buying kids DVDs, if the kids want to watch 4 episodes of something special in a row instead of paying £20 for the DVD I can record them and let them watch them.

With a husband that works funny shifts it is really handy that he can keep up with the TV he likes (which I do not) when he not working and unlike taping for normal sky I don't have to watch his rubbish.

The rewinding live TV is really handy of if you missed some thing (motor mouth children) or in my house it has solved many a disagreement over what was said.

Sky often have special offers on for sky plus insulation and we paid £49 for the box and the fitting was free. I must say this is the best £49 I have ever spent.

The only problem I have had was, my boxes kept breaking, it did take sky 1 week to come and sort this. During this time I did have no TV as I do not have a out door aerial. I did have about 3 boxes break in a row (was told this was some thing to do with my electric and make off box) and after the first one I was given a direct line to electricians and they always came out within 24 hours. One the brand of box was changed I have not had a problem and sky did refund me a weeks rental for the week I waited .

Over all sky plus has changed the way I watch TV and I COULD NOT be with out it
