I love this product. When it works. Lets get that out of the way right now. I talked to Sky and they gave me a free reconditioned box and installation for £30. However after 3 months it has on 3 occasions just stopped working. All it needs is a turn off and back on again, but if it stops just before a programme is to start then obviously it doesn't record.

That being said, I love it.

Features include:

-Rewind, Pause and Fast Forward Live TV.
Ok, so you can't go into the future, and it doesn't store all of the TV from the past. Let me explain this in real terms... If you turn on your channel and stay on it, you can rewind back to the point where you started watching. You can pause at any time - pop to the loo, or even if you have a load of washing to hang out/a guest arrives. Then when you return you can watch it, and fast forward through the break or dull parts of the programme until you reach real time again.

- Record up to two programmes at the same time.
If you are watching TV, one of the programmes must be the one you are watching but if you are out then you can have both recording with the TV switched off. GREAT for me and my partner who agree on many things, but not Sex in the City or A Car is Reborn!!!

Now this is a feature! For those of you who read my cake review you will know I can't remember birthdays, so to remember to record my programme every week would be disasterous! If there is a series you want to follow you press one button and the machine with record every episode in the series!

-Lots of space!
We are not telly addicts, but we do record lots and then catch up at our leisure - truth be told we will never 'catch up' but its nice that things WE WANT to watch are always there. You can also record movies, music videos, anything that is on live TV.

This is a one of payment for box and installation. I was offered my free box when I threatened to leave due to not getting the value from my subscription as I was often out when my programmes where on.

I really wouldn't be without it now. When I'm baking I can sit and watch something while its in the oven then pause it when its time to go and wash up!

Summary: You'll wonder how you lived with out it!
