I have always been a big fan of tv. And i also had sky around 5 or 6 years ago. I had it for a while and liked it. However since then it has improved drasticly!

I did have a break from sky in which i did not have it at all for about 2 years or so. Anyway i decided to get it again and this time went for sky plus!

So far everything has been absolutly brilliant. The EPG and the whole GUI basically is absolutly fantastic and the best around in my opinion it beats virgin and the lot. Adding to this is an exceptional ease of use. My mum can even use it! (that is definitly saying something). The recording of programs couldnt be simpler or faster and you really can just hit one button and get back to what you were watching. Adding to this is the fact that i can also use my mobile phone to set something to record just in case i forgot to!

Not only that but just the other week it completly broke and after calling sky a technician was sent straight away after 2 days and fixed the problem free of charge. So not only is sky plus a definite and secure upgrade for the switchover but you are also covered excellently if anything goes wrong. If your preparing for the switchover then sky tv has got to be by far the best satelite tv package.
