Advantages: Record tv, pause tv, rewind tv.

Disadvantages: None

When sky plus first arrived on the scene in the shape of an Alice Cooper and Ronny Corbett advert about 4 years ago, i was a little pessimistic to say the least. I really could not see how it worked, and what the use of it was.

However, after 2 years of now having the service, i really do not believe it is something i would want to live without.

Sky plus is the service offered by sky that allows you to record television, pause television or even rewind television.

It comes in the form of a different box which has a little play button on it, you also receive a different remote and different sky viewing card.


Ease of use
---------------
It is massively easy to use, all you have to do is search through the tv guide (the same one issued to normal sky customers) and choose the television programs that you want to record. When you know what you want just hit the big record button, and its there, and will save in your hard drive for later viewing.


Hard Drive

The hard drive which you save the programs on too is massive. I really dont think that you could get it full just by viewing and deleting programs.

Therefore, there is a save function on the box which allows you to keep programs that you have watched but you love and want to watch over and over again.

Until recently, i had about 25 episodes of top gear on there, all saved for a rainy day.

I dare you to give sky plus a go, it really is brilliant and you will soon see how useful it is. All squabbles over what to watch quickly disintegrate and it really is a radical piece of machinery offered by sky.

A must have.
