I've always been a TV fanatic, whether it was watching my Disney movies as a kid to watching dramatic rom-coms as a teenager and I would say that television is quite a big part of my free time. I have been sky TV customer on and off for quite a few years and was really pleased when the sky + box came out; I have the Sky + hd box but It doesn't really make any difference to me having the HD part as I wouldn't pay an extra £10 a month to gain access to the HD channels. However, I simply love the functions of the box. I really ... Read the complete review

Hundreds of channels and still nothing I want to watch! Anyone else have this problem or is it just me?!? I love sky plus, I'm amazed that they didn't invent it sooner really. The brilliant thing about sky+ is that you can record things on your sky box to watch another time. So for the times when you can't find anything to ... Read the complete review

Sky + is definately an improvement from the original sky box. It allows you to pause, rewind and record live television via your remote control! It also allows you to set a series link to a programme that you don't want to miss, so it records the show automatically everytime even if you are not there! With sky though, I think ... I only got a Sky+ box as I decided to take out a full Phone/Net/TV package, and the Sky+ option ended up cheaper than a standard box. I never thought I had the need to be able to pause TV to make a coffee or record an episode of 24 I was going to miss from the office - to be honest, I still don't. But, after saying that, it's ... I have had Sky + for a few years now and after having all my programmes recorded, I will never be able to go back to anything else. I can't remember my life without Sky Plus! That statement might make my life sound somewhat dull & TV focussed, & in some ways, it is. I recently made the leap and decided to pay for my TV for the first time ever (well, excluding the licence of course!) I've had freeview since it was introduced and felt like that offered plenty of choice and channels and there was usually something half decent to watch when I felt like it. However, a new job involves ... Read the complete review

It's strange to remember back to the days when I couldn't pause TV, record my favourite shows if I miss them, rewind back to see something I missed, or fast forward through the ad breaks once I'd paused live TV.
